July 4th Fireworks in Gwinnett - 6 Places to Watch the fireworks for your family.       

While the Mall of Georgia is traditionally the largest gathering of people there are a number of places to get your local Fourth of July fix —  and that includes number options on the eve of the actual holiday.


Lawrenceville’s Prelude to the Fourth - 7:30-10pm: 

Kick off your 4th of July holiday on July 3rd with our one-of-a-kind celebration, PRELUDE to the 4th. Lawrenceville’s renowned Aurora Theatre will perform a Broadway Musical with a full orchestra, followed by a dazzling fireworks display! 

Red, White & Boom in Norcross - 5:00 to 10:00 pm

The city of Norcross' celebration begins at 4 p.m. on July 3 and will include food trucks, , bounce houses, art vendors, drinks, "festive face painting" and so much more.  A DJ will perform live in Lillian Webb Park.

The park is located at 5 College St. A shuttle will also run from the parking lot at Norcross First United Methodist Church, located at 2500 Beaver Ruin Road.

Sparks in the Park in Sugar Hill - 6:00 - 10:00pm.

The city of Sugar Hill celebrates Independence Day on July 3.  Festivities at E.E. Robinson Park begin at 6 p.m. and include food trucks and a Jimmy Buffet cover band. Admission to the event is free and open to everyone. Food trucks will be available along with frozen treats. Guests are allowed to bring blankets, lawn chairs, coolers, and food; no pets or glass containers, please.

Fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m. and blankets, lawn chairs and coolers are permitted. E.E. Robinson Park is located at 850 Level Creek Road. This event traditionally brings over 10,000 people together annually to celebrate July 4th. 

Duluth Celebrates America - 6:00 to 11:00 pm

Duluth will hold its Independence Day activities a day early as well. Festivities will be held on the town green and include two live bands, food trucks and children's activities. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

The Duluth Town Green is located at 3167 Main St.


Star Spangled Fourth at the Mall of Georgia - 5:00 to ?

The 14th  consecutive Mall of Georgia fireworks display will draw thousands who will gather at the mall for plenty outdoor activities, live music and Gwinnett’s largest fireworks display. Children's rides, inflatables, food and beverages and so much more. Come and join in the fun.

Festivities begin at 5 p.m., with fireworks scheduled to begin at dusk. “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” will be shown post-fireworks on a 70-foot screen.

Admission is free. The Mall of Georgia is at 3333 Buford Drive NE in Buford.

Sparkle in the Park in Lilburn - 5:30-10:00 pm est

The city of Lilburn will hold its annual "Sparkle in the Park" festivities at 5:30 p.m. on July 4. Offerings include balloon artists, family photos, food trucks and a "high-energy, family-friendly concert" from musical artist GLOW. 

Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be accompanied by patriotic music. 

The event will be held at Lilburn City Park, 76 Main St. NW. Shuttles will be provided from the Nam Dae Mun Farmers Market, Lilburn Middle School and the parking lots at the intersections of Young and Church and Poplar and Killian Hill.
